Prayer request

I received some really upsetting news last week, which has my mind on other things at the moment…. my  mom has been in remission for cancer for 9 months, well, it’s back, so both of my parents have cancer now.   My time may be consumed with other things for awhile… I will try to keep up some posts every so often, but I know you will understand if the blog is very light in the posting for awhile.   Thank you so much for your lifting my family up in prayer.

God is in control.  He doesn’t ever lose control.  I pray for God’s will during this time in my life.

  1. I totally understand this journey. I am going through it with my mom right now who was in remission for 18 years, and now its back spreading like a wildfire. My husband’s grandma got news the same week that she has terminal cancer.

Both of them are at peace with where they are, and it is encouraging to see. You really don’t know what others are going through until you are going yhrough it yourself.

You will be in my prayers.

  2. Ever since I read this post you have been on my mind and in my heart. I have indeed been praying for you and your parents. Sickness and disease affects the entire family dynamic. Prayer does change things and in the spirit realm, there is so much more going on behind the scenes. Sometimes things get worse before they get better. But don’t give up. Take your praise to another level. God will provide for you a garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness and despair. Put on the garment of praise. Praise can release the supernatural. Know that God has a plan. Speak those things that are not as if they are. There is power in the tongue. God has given us power, dominion and authority. Speak from your position of authority.
There are some forces in the earth realm that want to dominate you like fear and anxiety. Fear is only False Evidence Appearing Real. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. Know your place woman of God. God wants us to dominate our surroundings. We are to be thermostats and not thermometers. You set the atmosphere in your home, at the job and around your parents and family. If you don’t dominate your surroundings, something in your surrounding will dominate you and ruin you. As a blood washed child of God created in His image, use your words to frame your world. Don’t underestimate the power of your praise. Be encouraged. I just wanted to share this with you.

  3. I am so sorry to hear about your mother. You and your parents will be in my prayers. I just discovered your old blog 2 days ago and have been pouring over every post in it. It has been an enlightening experience to say the least. Thanks for taking time for such an important and over looked ministry. If you ever run in to any of the former spice sisters please let them know there hard work is still bearing fruit. May God bless all of you!
