Psalm 149:4  For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people; he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Ever notice how there are very few (if any) ugly people on TV?  They are tall, never weak or frightened, and none seem to worry about how to pay the rent, feed their families, or even how to please their husbands….  Magazines even photoshop models to look flawless….

But all of that is fiction, and our Father in heaven loves us even though we’re not picture perfect.  He loves all his creations…short, tall, physically impaired, even those of us who struggle our way through life and sometimes we get under pretty deep.   God loves us so much that he calls us by name, and beautifies us with His salvation, the most precious thing we could ever ask for.

Thank you, Lord, for your unconditional love.   Thank you for loving me in good times, in bad times, when I am obedient and when I fall short.
