Prayers and Promises: Psalm 34:19

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all. (Psalm 34:19)

Troubles don’t mean that God has forgotten us.  He hasn’t given up on us, but he has promised to help us through all of our problems.   I know there are problems in my life that if I try to tackle alone, it just doesn’t work.  I cherish knowing that I don’t have to go through them alone.  I have a God that no problem is too big.

Lord, I will continue to need your help in all my trials and tribulations, but I am grateful and blessed to have a loving Father to see me through!

  1. I shall be ever so thankful for Jesus and His atonement. One of the great consequences of it, is that He took upon Himself all my pains, afflictions, sicknesses, sins and infirmities that He may know how to succor me in time of trouble. (See Isaiah 5: 3-5). No wonder He is so merciful towards me to the point He gave His life for me that I might live again after death (see 1 Corinthians 15).
